Vol.VI How to form cloth and leather corners in bookbinding.

I have put together this tutorial after being asked many times to explain how to form leather corners when bookbinding. In fact knowing how to form the corners of a humble cloth case binding is just as important.

The tutorial is fully illustrated and shows how to determine the correct size of the corners when making a half leather binding.

I am going to show how to form;

Cloth corners for a full buckram binding

Thin leather corners for a half leather binding.

Thin leather corners for a full leather binding.

Full thickness leather for a half leather binding.

And full thickness leather for a full leather binding.
